CSA Membership
The Rising Pheasant Farms Market CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a buying club-style, membership-based initiative to get more fresh produce into the hands of Detroiters.
How Does It Work?
Members invest at any time during the year. Based on their investment level, RPF will add credit to their account
Members use their credit with RPF at any one of the farmer’s markets that we attend
Member credit is tracked and member balances are sent via email once a month
Members will be added to a email group and receive our newsletter and produce offerings for each market weekly. Members may opt out of email contact if they prefer
Members have the option to pre-order produce to guarantee availability at the markets they attend
Investment Tiers Added Credit
$50-$99 No added credit
$100-$200 3% of investment
$201-$500 4% of investment
$501-$1,000 5% of investment
Why Should I Invest?
Small-scale agriculture is essential to making our food system more sustainable and human-centered. Your investment in our farm,, especially those made in the early spring, help us buy seed, purchase tools, and buy compost before we’ve been able to sell a single carrot.
A market-based CSA allows our supporters to get the produce they want, when they want it, and in the quantity that is best for their family.
You can conveniently use your credit at any market we attend and even if you forgot your cash at home!
You can pre-order our produce based off our weekly updates, so you can be sure to get what you want even when we have very limited supply of certain crops
And on top of all that, we'll add credit to your account based on your investment level as a big THANK YOU for supporting our farm
